KLMBGC Machine Pitch Program

Machine pitch baseball is a type of youth baseball designed to give young players consistent pitches to hit. In youth baseball involving players 7 through 8 years old, many leagues give the players a chance to throw the first three or five pitches to the batter. Since many pitchers of that age don’t have control, the teams use a pitching machine to throw balls to the batter until contact is made.  The machine is  the substitute for coaches who attempt to throw strikes to the players.

Our goal is to teach the game of machine pitch to the players that are transitioning over from T-Ball, while instilling the value of team building, sportsmanship and good old fashion fun. We offer machine pitch baseball for youth between the ages of 7 to 8.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Moulded Rubber Cleats (Baseball Shoes), Jock Strap with Protective Cup, Fitted Baseball Glove for the correct age group, if your child writes with his or her right hand, please get a baseball glove to fit on his or her left hand and a protective mouth piece.

PARENTS!!!! BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND SMALL PICTURE NEEDED ASAP!!!!!! PARENTS!!! PLEASE FILL OUT WHITE AND YELLOW CARD FOR THE KIDS THAT ARE NEW TO KLMBGC COUNTY TEAMS.

PARENTS!! PLEASE, WE NEED YOU TO PARTICIPATE BY BECOMING TEAM MOM, COACH OR ASSISTANT COACH AND BE SURE TO BRING KIDS ON TIME AND PICK THEM UP ON TIME!!!!

WE ARE LOOKING FOR HEROES TO COACH OUR KIDS, WE WILL PROVIDE COACHING CLASSES IF NEEDED. All coaches will get a background check and be certified by the county.

2012 COUNTY AMERICAN SPORTS EDUCATION PROGRAM (ASEP) CLASSES:
All ASEP training will need to be taken online. For 2012, there will not be any in-person, face-to-face style classrooms available. ONLINE CLASS are $19.95 each. The coaching book is included. Take the interactive course online at your own pace. Then take the online test and get your results immediately.
